"We gave it everything we had, especially in the second half. I always try to learn from the first team when I train with them," said the striker

NOVARA Andrea Pinamonti bemoaned Inter Primavera’s failure to find a goal as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Novara on Thursday afternoon.

"We went for it and gave it our all," insisted the striker at full time. "We knew it was going to be a tough match on a hot day. I think we lacked a killer instinct in the first half but after the break we did everything we could to win and the only thing lacking was a goal."

Pinamonti also spoke in glowing terms about his experience of training with the first team.

"I always try to learn something from each of the players," explained the youngster. "When I go back down to the Primavera, I’m fully focused on winning every game."
