ORVAULT – The Nerazzurri Pulcini side have followed up the Esordienti’s success with victory at the Torneo Mini Mondial in France.
Some of the 144 teams at the tournament included top European clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester City, West Ham, Barcelona, Benfica, Sevilla, Juventus, Roma, Olympique Marseilles, Monaco, Nice, Lille, Lyon, Toulouse and Saint-Etienne.
Gianni Vivabene’s success won all their eight games in the first phase of the tournament before defeating Lille 1-0 in the semis. They then overcame Sevilla 2-0 in the final in front of a crowd of around 3,200 spectators.
