"These tour games are a good chance for us to implement the coach’s ideas," the Colombian defender told Inter Channel after the draw with Schalke

CHANGZHOU – Jeison Murillo was the unlikely scorer of a fine goal in Inter’s 1-1 draw with Schalke in Changzhou on Friday evening, with the Colombian defender revealing his satisfaction at the strike to Inter Channel at the final whistle.

"I’m happy with the goal – it’s a nice way to start," he said. "I want to thank God for enabling me to work hard. Slowly but surely, I’m regaining my fitness.

"These tour games are a good chance for us to implement the coach’s ideas. I’m happy to play wherever [Luciano] Spalletti wants me to – right now the most important thing is to work hard, then we’ll see."
