SINGAPORE – Cristian Ansaldi couldn’t hide his satisfaction after he made his return to the field of play in Inter’s 2-0 win over Bayern Munich in the International Champions Cup Singapore on Thursday.
"I’m delighted to be back after two and a half months out – everything was fine," he told Inter Channel after the final whistle.
Ansaldi praised his team-mates for an impressive performance against the German champions.
"This is a great win. We’re on the right track," he said. "I know Spalletti, he’s a great coach and he’s giving his all for the team."
Last but not least, Ansaldi gave his reaction to Wednesday’s Serie A fixture list announcement.
"It’s important to start at home and it’s vital that we get the win," he said.
