Ranocchia: "A hard - fought but fundamental win"

CROTONE – He was called back to the cause for the final minutes of the match at the Stadio Scida to help secure the result and Andrea Ranocchia made his contribution for the team. “It’s never easy to come on in this situation but I’m training well and I have a great feeling with the coach and my teammates. It was vital to win today on a very difficult pitch. These three points are important because they stretch our run of victories. It’s not easy for anybody to win here. We suffered a bit a times but that was necessary with the weather and the pitch. We reacted well in our moment of difficulty and Handanovic made important saves as often happens. Now, we’ll think of the next game where there are three more points to be won.” 

Now, the focus turns to the next match. “The Coach is able to motivate everybody, from the third goalkeeper to the last of the forwards. All of the players are able to give everything, this gives us strength. The road is still long, we’re enjoying the moment but we have to continue like this. Skriniar? He’s really strong, I knew him at Sampdoria and he’ll give us great satisfaction.”
