Benevento vs. Inter: Stats and Trivia

MILAN – It’s the very first competitive meeting between Benevento and Inter. Together with Opta, here are all the stats and pieces of trivia ahead of Sunday’s match. Inter have won five and drawn one of the opening six fixtures. The Nerazzurri haven’t started so well since the 2002-3 season when they finished second.

Borja Valero is the top midfielder for passes completed this season in Serie A with 446. JoãoMário has come up with three assists, including two for the last three Nerazzurri goals. 

Among the goalkeepers with at least three appearances in Serie A, Samir Handanovic has the best save percentage (88%). 

On the subject of former players, George Puscas is on loan from Inter and made his Serie A debut in the 2014-15 season, playing four times and starting once. Vid Belec developed at the Inter youth academy and played in three Europa League matches during the 2012-13 season (one of which was in a preliminary round) although he never featured in the league. The young pair of Bright Gyamfi and Andrew Gravillon also came through the Inter youth system.
