This is what the Nerazzurri defender had to say following Sunday's win over Benevento: "Our main objective to return to the Champions League"

BENEVENTO - Following the final whistle at the Stadio Vigorito, Joao  Miranda had this to say regarding the Nerazzurri’s hard-fought victory: “We managed to win even though we also suffered at the end. We must always give our all because if we want to reach our objectives, then we must not struggle like this."

“Our aim is do well and qualify for the Champions League,” he continued. “There is now the international break, but as soon as we return we must seek to do even better because we then have the derby. This is a hugely important fixture that we want to win.

“Our defence is strong and we have a lot of quality. Today we lost the ball on too many occasions and Benevento also put in a good performance.”
