BENEVENTO - “The result is important,” said Matias Vecino after Inter’s away win against Benevento. “We are happy with the path that we’re taking, despite the fact that we today struggled a bit more than expected.”
“They wanted a result,” the midfielder added. “We could’ve finished things off a bit easier but we still managed to win. We can do a lot better. We made mistakes in certain situations and struggled more than we should’ve done. The derby is a very special and emotional encounter.”
