Santon: "It was important to consolidate these good performances"

MILAN – Davide Santon came on at the end of the second half during the 3-2 win over Sampdoria and spoke exclusively to Inter TV. “To go on and be ready straight away isn’t easy but we have to bring these results home by managing the ball better. There was certainly also some tiredness, we spent a lot of energy on Saturday away at Napoli but we need to know how to manage it better.” 

“We’re now going to Verona and there we obviously need to play our game and bring home the points. In the past years, we’ve lacked some consistency, it was really important to consolidate the good performance at Napoli against a Sampdoria side who are playing well and without much pressure. It was a tough game and we’re happy with the win.” 

“I always give everything in training and I’m happy to know that my moment will come.”
