Skriniar: "My aim is to always help the team"

MILAN - Having scored the opening goal of the game against former club Sampdoria on Tuesday, Milan  Skriniar had since had this to say to Inter TV: ""I am very happy with my goal, however I have great respect for my former teammates, coach and fans. Let's hope I can score a few more throughout the season. For now I am just happy with each victory. I am more focusing on not conceding goals rather than scoring them."

"As for speaking on the pitch, we are all leaders in the team and we help each other. This is very important for us. I am happy to please the fans and I want to thank them for their continued support.

"We played well particularly in the first half. The two goals we conceded should not have happened, but this is football and we must now start preparing for the next match. Let's hope that we can remain in top spot, which is where we should be.
