Zaniolo with the opener, Meadows made it 1-1, before Rover came up with the winner

SESTO SAN GIOVANNI – Less than 72 hours after the Viareggio Cup victory, Stefano Vecchi’s Under-19 side was back in action in Primavera 1 TIM for a very important match against Roma.  Zaniolo and Rover scored the two goals, which allowed Inter to win at the Stadio Breda in Sesto San Giovanni.

Nicolò Zaniolo put Inter ahead after receiving the ball from Colidio in the box and he beat Roma’s goalkeeper.

Roma were able to find the equaliser through a Meadows header, after a cross from the left side from Valeau in the 17th minute.

The game was balanced but pressure from Inter allowed the Nerazzurri to score and make it 2-1 after a good run by Rover, who split the defence in half and beat the Roma goalkeeper with an accurate shot across goal in the 63rd minute.

The result did not change before the final whistle arrived. The result means that Inter stay first in the table alongside Atalanta on 47 points.
