Ausilio: "We want to wrap up our objective"

FIUGGI - Inter Sporting Director Piero Ausilio received the ‘Maurizio Maestrelli’ Przie in Fiuggi. He also spoke to the press at the event. "It’s a pleasure to receive this award, it’s great recognition for those who have done a lot for football and young people." 

"Lazio vs. Inter will be a final if we do what we have to do on Saturday, we’re thinking about each game as it comes. After Sassuolo, we’ll think about Lazio. The objectives have always been clear, our project started in July with a season to bring ourselves back into the Champions League. I’m convinced that the team now is better compared to the version in October, we’ve developed and we have projects that will continue beyond the end of the season."

"We have 13 points more compared to last year, development is what matters for us and we are improving while gearing up for next season. It’s normal that Champions League football brings something extra financially but from a technical perspective, things don’t change, we want to keep developing."  

"Spalletti’s contract renewal is a media issue more than anything, I don’t think that there’s a problem in organising for the future with him because we’re very happy with him and the Suning group has big ambitions. Icardi is the symbol of Inter. Rafinha’s desire is clear and now we have to evaluate things ourselves but we’re enthusiastic about his technical qualities and character. This Inter side knows where it can go and we want to wrap up our objective."
