SAMARA - Following their victories against Egypt and Saudi Arabia, Uruguay also won their match-up with Russia to finish top of Group A on full points. The Celeste won 3-0 at the Samara Arena to fly into the Round of 16 as group winners. MatiasVecino played an important part in Uruguay’s win. He was selected as a starter by Oscar Tabarez and he featured for the entire match.
