The Under-19 Coach to Inter TV after Inter 0-0 Sampdoria: "We weren't able to take our chances"

SESTO SAN GIOVANNI - ArmandoMadonna spoke to Inter TV after the U-19 side's goalless draw against Sampdoria. "We tried to win the game but we couldn’t take the chances that we had," he said. "Samp defended very well and we could have done with a bit more pace. We can take the point, these games help us to understand where we can improve in order that we keep developing. Our position in the table is good and I can see the glass as being half-full."

"I liked what I saw from my team in the first quarter of an hour. Nevertheless, we were too slow when dictating the play and it allowed our opponents to get in position and defend. The positive thing is that we gave up very few chances. Now, we have to prepare for the Napoli game. I can see the guys doing well in the future, we’re more aware of our strengths."
