Pompetti: "It was an important win at Napoli"

APPIANOGENTILE - 18-year-old midfielder Marco Pompetti spoke to Inter TV about the match away at Napoli. "It was certainly a very positive match because we got an important win, for ourselves and for the table. It was a good performance, we were able to finish it off in the second half and bring home the three points.

"The previous meeting in Genoa earlier in the season represented a turning point, from then on a different team could be seen. We’ve kept working a lot, we’ve improved and we’re now enjoying things having matured and reached second place."

Pompetti then discussed the end of the season: "As we know, the top two places offer direct access to the semi-finals. We want to say here, then if we can go ahead of Atalanta then that’s even better still."
