Agoume, Bastoni, Brozovic, Lazaro, Skriniar and Vecino all on the pitch for their respective national teams

MILAN - As we wait for our players to put the Inter shirt back on after the break, it was a Friday of international matches for six of our Nerazzurri, who were all in action for their respective national teams.

It was an important victory for Marcelo Brozovic's Croatia who triumphed 4-0 over Milan Skriniar's Slovakia, giving Dalic's team three big points in the race towards Euro 2020. Both Nerazzurri players stayed on for the full 90 minutes.

Valentino Lazaro's Austria also had great success in their 6-0 win against Latvia as our midfielder played 69 minutes, this result taking Foda's side into second place in Group G behind Poland.

Paolo Nicolato got off to a positive start in his first match as Coach of the Italian Under-21s, as they beat Moldova’s same age group 4-0. Our young defender Alessandro Bastoni played a key role in the victory and clean sheet, playing the full 90 minutes.

Lucien Agoume's progress in the Torneo Internazionale di Limoges also continued in the best way possible: after his success (scoring the goal that started the comeback) in the debut match against Senegal, France U-18s repeated their good work against Portugal, winning 2-0 in their second fixture of the tournament.

Finally, in the middle of the night for Italy, Matias Vecino's Uruguay came out with a 2-1 victory in their friendly against Costa Rica. The Inter midfielder played the entire match at the Estadio Nacional in San José.
