The Nerazzurri Coach gave his thoughts after the draw against Parma: “I can’t blame the guys at all, it’s their third game in six days.”

MILAN - It’s a first league draw of the season for Antonio Conte’s Inter, who shared the spoils of this matchday nine encounter with their opponents Parma: it finished 2-2 at San Siro with Candreva opening the scoring and Lukaku closing it, while the Gialloblu scored two goals in between through Karamoh and Gervinho.

The Nerazzurri Coach had the following to say: “We didn’t play well during the first half, we could’ve done more. Parma had prepared well for this game and we played into their game plan. We gave away two goals due to carelessness. We played well in all aspects during the second half, our intensity and general play was good, so we would have merited a victory if we had managed it.”

“I can’t say a lot to the lads because this was our third match in six days and practically the same players have taken to the pitch, I can’t play the blame game at all. A lot of physical and nervous energy has been expended, but we need to make do. From this point of view, I’m not calm because we’ve got another four games in quick succession coming up and it won’t be easy.

“De Vrij and Asamoah, for example, had problems and I didn’t want to risk them. It’s difficult to play every three days with a squad down to the bare bones, but now we need to go again. We’re on a journey and there’s a need to grow gradually in every respect. We need to work patiently, but I’m a little bit worried because we’re going through a period where we’re unable to make changes and there’s therefore an increased risk of injuries.”
