MILAN – Inter are set to take to the pitch for their second midweek league fixture this season and their opponents will be Brescia, a side they’ve met on 44 occasions previously. So far, the Nerazzurri’s record against the Rondinelle reads as follows: 24 wins, 16 draws and four defeats. Three of those losses came at the Stadio Rogamonti.

In recent clashes between the sides, the Nerazzurri have been in good goalscoring form: Inter have found the net in all of their last ten Serie A matches against Brescia, winning six of those, drawing three and losing just once.

No other side has scored more headed goals than Inter (four) this season, while only Bologna (four) have conceded more goals than Brescia (three) in this manner. The Nerazzurri are also the team who have scored the most in the first 30 minutes of games so far this campaign (nine) and also the side who have netted the most from set-pieces (eight). In percentage terms, Brescia are leading the way when it comes to goals scored from dead-ball situations (63%, five out of eight).

Up to this point, Brescia have only picked up one point at home following one draw and two defeats. They’ve scored four goals at the Rigamonti, three of which were netted by Donnarumma. So far, Lukaku has bagged four in his first four Serie A away matches in the Inter shirt. The only player to score five goals in their first five away games for the Nerazzurri during the three-points-for-a-win era was Diego Milito, who scored his fifth in November 2009.

Meanwhile, Marcelo Brozovic (623) and Milan Skriniar (578) are both in the top three for number of completed passes up to this point.
