MILAN - After their win over Brescia in the midweek fixture, Antonio Conte’s team are getting ready for another away trip in the league, this time to the Stadio Dall’Ara. There have been 144matches played between Inter and Bologna in Serie A, and the numbers give Inter the historical advantage. Inter have won 69 times against the Rossoblù who have 40 victories to their name in this fixture, and the two teams have shared 35 draws.

A 2-1 win for the Nerazzurri is the most common result in this fixture. The match has ended this way 18 times, including at San Siro in February 2018. In that match, the home team had not found the back of the net in three of their four previous matches after having got on the scoresheet in the three matches before that.

On the subject of goals, Bologna have scored 14 from the first ten matches in all competitions while Inter have scored at least one in all 13 matches across all competitions, winning eight out of ten in the league and taking 25 points. Inter can count on two players who have scored at least five goals from the first ten games for the first time since the 2012/13 season: Lautaro Martínez and Romelu Lukaku. The Argentine is the youngest player from the 20 Serie A sides to have scored at least seven goals across all competitions this season while the Belgian is the second player after Ronaldo to have scored at least seven goals from his first ten matches as an Inter player in Serie A during his first season in the era of three points for a win.

Thanks to his appearances against Parma and Brescia, Sebastiano Esposito is the youngest player to have featured twice this season while Milan Skriniar’s next match will be his 100th in all competitions for Inter. The Slovakian started all 99 of his previous appearances. Antonio Conte and Sinisa Mihajlovic are the coaches and the Nerazzurri boss drew his first two matches in Serie A against the Bologna coach and he has since won the last four league matches against the side from Emilia.
