UCL, Skriniar: "We deserved more"

MILAN - The Nerazzurri showed great courage, but it wasn’t quite enough as they were defeated by Barcelona and dropped out of the Champions League. Milan Skriniar gave his thoughts on the match to Inter TV after the game: “We played well from a tactical point of view, we created a lot of chances but unfortunately we didn’t manage to score more than just the one tonight. Teams like that make you pay. We deserved more but unfortunately that’s just how it went.”

“We’re not just a team on the pitch; we’re united as a group off the pitch too and that’s really important. This defeat cannot stop us because we still have a lot of games to play and a lot of goals to achieve. We’re disappointed tonight, but tomorrow we’ll have to start thinking about Sunday’s game which we have to win to remain top of the league.”
