Gagliardini and Genoa in a sentence: “Happy with the win”

MILAN - A favourite opponent, there’s no other way to put it. Roberto Gagliardini has scored nine goals in Serie A, five of which have now come against Genoa. Two braces last year and a big goal to make it 2-0 in tonight’s Nerazzurri goalfest. Our midfielder spoke to Inter TV after the game: “It’s a strange coincidence regarding my goals against Genoa! We prepared some of our movements based on how they played, they had a lot of players in the centre of the pitch so we wanted to spread things out, even with the central midfielders.”
