The numbers and statistics from the Nerazzurri’s Europa League win last night

MILAN - Inter return from Razgrad with a big 2-0 win away to Ludogorets in the first leg of the Europa League round of 32, with the second leg set to take place at San Siro next Thursday. In collaboration with Opta, here are all the best numbers and statistics from the Nerazzurri’s victory in Bulgaria.

  • Inter have now scored in all of their first 16 away games of the season: they haven't done so since 1964, when they hit their record of 17.

  • Eleven wins from the first 16 away games of the season for Inter, who have only done better in the 2006/07 season with twelve wins from the same number of away games.

  • Christian Eriksen has been involved in three goals in his last four European appearances (EL + CL), with an individual return of two goals and an assist.

  • With his ninth shot for the Nerazzurri, last night Christian Eriksen scored his first goal for Inter since joining in January.

  • Inter made seven changes to their starting XI from the preceding game against Lazio: the highest number of changes between consecutive games for the Nerazzurri this season.

  • Last night, Andrea Ranocchia made his 200th appearance for Inter (across all competitions).

  • Romelu Lukaku has now scored 14 away goals this season: only Werner (16) and Lewandowski (20) have scored more out of any player in Europe’s Top 5 leagues.

  • Inter didn’t concede a single shot in the first half against Ludogorets: the only other time they managed to do so this season was against Cagliari in January.

  • Romelu Lukaku has now scored in six games in a row in the Europa League: the last player to go on a longer scoring streak in the UEFA Cup/Europa League was Alan Shearer in 2005 (eight).
