NYON – The UEFA Executive Committee met today to define the rescheduling of the UEFA Europa League 2019/20 matches that were postponed due to the COVID-19 emergency.
The match between Inter and Getafe, valid for the competition’s round of 16 and originally scheduled for March, will take place as a single knockout match that will be held on 5/6 August at a venue still to be determined.
The tournament will then continue with single knockout matches in the quarter-finals (10/11 August), semi-finals (16/17 August) and final (21 August), all of which are due to take place in the cities of Cologne, Duisburg, Düsseldorf and Gelsenkirchen.
The matches valid for the round of 16 will be played at 18:55 CEST or 21:00 CEST, while all matches in the subsequent rounds will start at 21:00 CEST.
