Official statement: the Primavera 1 TIM championship has been definitively cancelled

MILAN – The Lega’s Council has officially announced the definitive suspension of the Primavera 1 TIM Championship. Here is the official statement:

The Lega’s Council on 16 June 2020,

given the Assembly of Lega Serie A’s resolution on 21 April 2020;

given the Decree of the Council of Ministers’ President on 10 April 2020 on “urgent measures to contain the spread of the virus throughout the country”;

given the uncertain conditions resulting from the epidemiological emergency of COVID-19;

considering the need to protect the health of young people;

the resolution to definitively suspend the Primavera 1 TIM Giacinto Facchetti Trophy 2019/20 Championship has been made.
