The French midfielder speaking to Inter TV after his substitute appearance against Sassuolo: "I am happy to have come on but it is a shame about the result!"

MILAN - “I’m pleased to have come on today, even though it is a shame about the result,” said Lucien Agoume to Inter TV after Inter’s 3-3 draw with Sassuolo. “We had plenty of chances and should’ve won.”

The young French midfielder replaced Eriksen midway through the second-half on Wednesday and he has since discussed his own development: “I always work hard to ensure that I am ready when the Coach calls on me and I hope to keep this up. I try to learn from everyone. There are many strong players in my position and I want to learn as much as I can to keep on improving. Everyone has told me to stay calm, to keep playing how I know and not to rush. That is what I tried to do when I came on.”
