MILAN – The Federal Council has confirmed the date for the start of the 2020/21 Women’s Serie A league season.
This is what the FIGC’s statement said:
“The Council has approved the new licensing system for the women’s league and has confirmed the dates for the new season: the start date for the 2020/21 championship will be 22 August, this is in part to meet the needs of the National Team who are playing in the qualifiers for the 2022 European Championship in September.”
