Young: "We'll take as many points as possible"

MILAN - A key player in the win over Brescia, scoring the opener and providing the assist for D'Ambrosio to make it 3-0, Ashley Young is already looking ahead to Sunday's fixture with Bologna at San Siro, as he told Sky Sport.

"We all needed to show a reaction after the game against Sassuolo, because it was a shame that we didn't pick up three points. We wanted to get back to winning ways straight away and we managed that in Parma with a brilliant comeback. We looked to dominate the game against Brescia and when you score six goals, it's means you've put in a great performance. There are always things we need to improve, scoring or making assists isn't important on a personal level, but it's for the team."

"I think that playing every three or four days requires a lot, both from a physical and a mental standpoint. Once you get used to it, you only need to think about going out there and trying to win. Our main objective is always to get three points. We have nine league games left. We have the chance to take a lot of points; we need to take every opportunity that comes our way. We're not looking too far ahead. We're taking it one game at a time: we're back at it on Sunday, there are three points up for grabs. There are a possible 27 left too, we'll do all we can to take them all, then we'll see where we end up."

Young began his Italian adventure last January, "Serie A is definitely more tactical than the Premier League. When I got the opportunity to join Inter, I thought it'd be nice to win a trophy in Italy. When? We'll try to do it straight away. Our ambition is to win silverware, the Europa League is in our sights too. We can win it; we have a strong squad, we train hard, we want to take every chance we have to win."

Finally, on Antonio Conte: "The passion he has football, and that he gives us, is incredible. He's got a winning menality and he instils that in all the players."
