UEL, Zanetti: “At this point every opponent will be tough, we have to make sure we’re ready”

MILAN - The draw for the final stages of this year’s Europa League was held today in Nyon, with the remaining games set to be played in August. Our Vice President Javier Zanetti commented on the results of the draw and the Nerazzurri’s path ahead while speaking to Inter TV, with the complete interview set to go online at 19:30 CEST tonight: “I think that all the teams will be tough to face from this point onwards, and because of this we have to prepare the best we can, showing respect for every opponent.”

The Nerazzurri’s first fixture sees them face Getafe in a one-off knockout game in the round of 16, the winner of the match then facing either Rangers or Bayer Leverkusen in the quarter-finals: “They’re two teams who we’ve already come up against at different points in the past, but first we have to get through the round. We’ve got a very difficult game against Getafe ahead of us.”
