The Nerazzurri captain kept a clean sheet for the third match in a row in our clash with Napoli

MILAN - For the third match in a row, Inter, and our captain Samir Handanovic, have gone without conceding. Handanovic is at the core of a Nerazzurri defence that is currently the league's best, having conceded just 36 goals so far this season. The Nerazzurri skipper was in the middle of the action throughout tonight's match, making a number of decisive saves in the 2-0 win. After the final whistle, Handanovic gave his thoughts on the match to Sky Sport: "This is a really important win: we took our chances, all while showing we can deal with adversity. I think the 2-0 win was well-earned, now we've got to work for the three points in Bergamo, and once we're done with that we can turn our thoughts to the Europa League.

"Inter should always be playing to win, especially because we're likely to have a real fight on our hands on Saturday. And as for tiredness, it's not an easy time for anyone, and we've got to show we can manage the game well. Atalanta are a tough side to play against, but it's nothing we haven't dealt with before. Of course, all credit to them for how far they've come, and I have no doubt it's going to be an open, tough game".
