The Round of 16 ties have been completed, so here's the complete overview of the Europa League quarter-finals, which will see Inter take on Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the Düsseldorf Arena. It's a game that may open the doors for Inter to progress to the semi-finals, where they would face the winner of Shakhtar Donetsk vs. FC Basel. All of the remaining games will be played as single-legged ties behind closed doors.

Friday 21 August, 21:00 CEST Winner semi-final 1 vs. Winner semi-final 2 (Cologne)

 

THE RULES

 

Games will take place as single-legged ties: in case of a draw after 90 minutes, extra time and, if required penalties will be played.

Teams may make up to five substitutions, but only in three separate blocks. Changes made at half time or in the half time of extra time will not be counted as one of the three blocks. One extra substitution may be made during extra time.

Furthermore, squad sizes have been increased to 23 players from their usual 18.

UEFA have determined that, from the quarter-finals onwards, all bookings have been wiped.
