Prior to Inter vs. Real Madrid, a minute's silence was held in memory of the Argentine legend

MILAN – At an empty San Siro on a cold November evening, Diego Armando Maradona, who passed away at the age of 60 today, was remembered.

The football world has said goodbye to a true champion, with his photo being displayed on the big screen at the stadium as a minute’s silence was held prior to the game between Inter and Real Madrid. Both teams took to the pitch wearing commemorative armbands.
