MILAN – He couldn’t have chosen a better way to celebrate his birthday: a goal at the Borussia-Park (his first in an Inter shirt), a deserved victory for the team, praise from Antonio Conte and the applause of the Nerazzurri faithful.

With Inter having just beaten Borussia Mönchengladbach, Matteo Darmian is now celebrating his 31st birthday and his first as an Inter player. Following his excellent performance in Reggio Emilia, he produced another great display in Germany, making his week even more special.
