Goals from Juwara and Barrow condemn Inter to defeat following Lukaku's opener

MILAN – Inter fell to an unexpected home defeat against Bologna this afternoon, with the Rossoblù running out 2-1 winners on matchday 30. Antonio Conte’s side will have a lot of regrets: after taking a 1-0 lead into the break thanks to Lukaku’s goal, and following an excellent first-half performance, the Nerazzurri found themselves a man up to due to Soriano’s sending off. Inter then had a golden opportunity to extend their lead from the penalty spot, but Lautaro was denied by Skorupski. This proved to be the turning point as Juwara grabbed an equaliser three minutes after Bastoni had seen red for a second bookable offence. From that point on, Inter struggled to command possession, and Bologna managed to score a second through Musa Barrow. During the closing stages, Conte’s men threw bodies forward in an attempt to get back into the match, with Sanchez coming close on two occasions. But the Nerazzurri weren’t able to find the net for a second time. As a result, they remain on 64 points in the league.
