This came in the second leg of the tie after a 3-2 Inter win in the first leg. There has only been one draw in the last eight Derby fixtures in all competitions (five Nerazzurri wins and two Rossoneri triumphs) – a 0-0 stalemate in April 2018 in the league – after the previous six matches between the teams had ended level on four occasions.

DRAW

Inter made it through to the quarter-finals after a 2-1 extra-time win against Fiorentina (goals from Vidal and Lukaku). AC Milan, meanwhile, defeated Torino 5-4 on penalties. As was the case in the round of 16, this will be a straight knockout game and the winners will advance to the semi-finals, where they will meet either SPAL or Juventus. The other half of the draw sees Atalanta take on Lazio, while Napoli will face Spezia.
