Il Toro once again the decisive figure for his country

Inter players came out victorious for their countries in the round of midweek 2022 World Cup qualifiers in South America. After Alexis Sanchez scored a brace for Chile (read about it here), Argentina - who had already reached the tournament - overcame Colombia. Another Nerazzurri player starred in this game; Lautaro Martinez broke the deadlock after 29 minutes for his side in their game in Cordoba. It proved to be the match-winner and Il Toro was taken off after 69 minutes. Matias Vecino's Uruguay also triumphed, defeating Venezuela 4-1.
