The Man of the Match from Inter v Verona is...

MILAN – Inter's 2-0 win over Hellas Verona gave the Nerazzurri fans a joyful Saturday. A victory, three points and some splendid football: goal-scoring chances at one end and a clean sheet at the other. 

There was a clear winner in our Twitter poll: Ivan Perisic. Fans were keen to praise the Croat who played a blinder, providing two assists.

PERISIC 69.5% | Just try and catch him! Tireless, quick, precise: two assists, one with his foot, the other with his head. Played on the wing before moving into the forward line. An all-round performance. 

SKRINIAR 16.6% | Closed down relentlessly. Excelled in the second period, with a goal-saving header and tackles all over the pitch.

BARELLA 10.9% | His third goal of the season, that which broke the deadlock. A well-timed finish in a performance full of intensity.

DZEKO 2.9% | Scored the second goal, like a thoroughbred centre forward, and turned in an excellent broader display in terms of play, passing and helping his teammates.
