MILAN – Today Inter have announced that they are joining forces with Cinelli, the historic Milanese cycling company. This collaboration between two brands who share their origins, an innate desire to succeed, a pursuit of sporting excellence, and an attention to style and design has resulted in the creation of an exclusive collection of limited-edition products which will be released in two different drop phases, the first of which goes on sale from today.

In the wake of the launch of the Made in Milan collection and the collaboration with Kartell to coincide with the derby, this coming together of ideas between Inter and Cinelli is a further step forward in the Nerazzurri’s brand development and positioning, showcasing that the club is capable of thriving in worlds beyond football and forging ever deeper bonds with iconic Milanese brands.

The first drop from the collection, available from today on the landing page of interxcinelli.it, includes jersey, bib short, socks and the fundamental cycling cap. The garments feature a design inspired by the history and art of Milan and are embellished with visible blue stitching which recall the manufacturing tradition of the city, standing out on the materials of the running gear. The products, available from today in black, will be followed by a second release in a different colour.

This first lot of new products also includes two iconic and exclusive bikes: the Inter x Cinelli Vigorelli in the Pearl White and Blue versions, designed for use both on the track and in the city. These are themed around Cinelli’s collaboration with Inter and feature a special design. The highlights of the collection are the Inter x Cinelli Nemo Tig Gravel from the Nemo range, the best in terms of performance and style, and the Inter x Cinelli Nemo Tig Road Disc, created to meet the needs of contemporary sophisticated cyclists who are keen not to sacrifice the racing feeling while also looking for something pleasant to ride. These bikes are 100% Made in Italy and come fitted with Pirelli tyres. Given that they are Nerazzurri’s Official Tyre Partner this further strengthens the link between Cinelli and the club.

The collaboration was launched through a series of photographic shots and a hero video which covers this meeting of the worlds of football and cycling and establishes common ground through a multifunctional training experience. Both the contents’ thematic approach and the product design is inspired by Futurism, an artistic avant-garde movement with roots in the city of Milan.

The stars in bringing this collaboration to life are players from Inter Women U19s and Nerazzurri Primavera as well as Cinelli racing team, who tested the bikes and clothing created exclusively for this collaboration.

The location selected for the filming of this production is a further nod to Milan; it features the iconic Vigorelli velodrome which has a stellar reputation both in the city and worldwide and whose name lends itself to one of the bikes from the collection. The location of the shots and the launch date of the collaboration also coincide with an iconic moment for cycling in Milan: the 113th edition of the Milano-Sanremo. It will start right from the Vigorelli velodrome on Saturday 19 March and will play host to an exclusive occasion dedicated to the presentation of the Inter x Cinelli collection during the race’s starting ceremony.
