The first trophy of the 2022/23 campaign will be up for grabs when Milan vs. Inter is played in Saudi Arabia

The Lega Serie A has officially confirmed the date of the 2022/23 Supercoppa Italiana: Milan vs. Inter will take place on 18 January 2023 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The kick-off time will be determined at a later date, in agreement with the local organisers of the event.

Inter, the current Coppa Italia holders, will face Milan in a derby showdown where the first trophy of the 2022/23 campaign will be up for grabs. The Nerazzurri will be aiming to defend the title that they won by beating Juventus at San Siro earlier on this year.

It’ll be the 35th edition of the Supercoppa and the twelfth time it has taken place outside of Italy. Inter are set to play for the trophy for the eleventh time in their history. Thanks to last season’s triumph, the Nerazzurri have won it on six occasions.
