A focused and disciplined performance from Inter, who knocked Torino out with a 2-1 win in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals. Ange-Yoan Bonny, Andy Diouf and Carlos Augusto shared their thoughts after the game:
“Torino were a tough opponent this evening, but we are happy to have made it through. In games like these, you have to fight, sometimes suffer and today we did that. When we play like this, we are a strong team. We've got plenty of forwards performing well. We all play for the team and we hope to continue like this for the rest of the season. ”

“I'm very happy that we won and to have scored, whenever I can help the team I'm happy. It was an important game, the Coppa Italia is never easy, and Torino were a tough side to face. I'm playing more and especially in midfield, but that's not what matters most. The final goal is to contribute to the team. I can play on the right on my stronger foot, or on the left too. Playing in midfield makes me happiest. Playing as a wing-back isn’t easy because I’d never done it before and there’s a lot of ground to cover. It’s easier for me to play in midfield, I feel comfortable there and I’m getting to know our forwards better and better. The coach talks to me a lot in training and gives me plenty of advice; communication is really important.”
Andy Diouf
“Cocchi and Kamate did well. They work with us during the week, we put our faith in them and they're great guys. Today they stepped up and they should keep it up. We know how last season ended, but I always say: this is Inter. We go into every competition to win and we always aim to go as far as we can. ”
