The Nerazzurri coach's comments at the end of Juventus vs. Inter

The third matchday for Inter ends with a 4-3 defeat at the Allianz Stadium. A result that came at the end of an intense game with several back-and-forths and Inter holding the advantage until the 76th minute, before Juventus' late comeback. At the end of the match, Cristian Chivu commented:

“We put in a really strong performance in both the first and second halves. We were behind twice, and we fought back. We need to get better at reading the game, but we came here to play a game and to try and win it. We lacked a bit of composure in knowing how to act differently, especially in the last ten minutes. I never look at things on an individual level. I just mean that we should have managed certain situations better, especially considering that when they were in trouble, they even kicked the ball out of play. Calhanoglu? For me, it's the team's overall performance and the character they showed from the start, even in turning the game around. Calhanoglu did what we expected of him; that's his quality and what he brings to the team. It's about reading the game, knowing when to act and when not to, and staying in control in a match when you've worked hard to come back. These are experiences we need training on and need to learn from. We take the positives from our performance, even if we are upset about not winning. We'll focus on what we did well, even if the result doesn't reflect it. We need to carry on, keep working, keep calm, and clear-headed to get results because this team is working hard and doing well.”
