“I promised you as a child” — his motto. A record-breaking season for Dimash, the absolute star of the Nerazzurri’s run.

Over the last few seasons, whenever he's on the pitch, it feels like the play naturally flows through the left flank. Federico Dimarco is something of a magnet: he attracts the ball and draws attention. His teammates already know he'll be there, ready to receive and create chances. Among the many names behind Inter's 21st Scudetto, his stands out as one of the brightest. Inter has always been a part of his identity, and winning in these colours means everything to him, especially after last season's disappointment, which only fuelled him to come back stronger. And that's exactly what he did, focused on one thing alone: winning. He has grown into a true leader on the pitch, one of the pillars of Inter's style of play. He has blended intensity and determination with his lethal left foot, contributing to both phases of the game to influence the play. He's given his all for the badge and for our colours.

When Dimarco scores, as part of his celebration, he points to his mind. It's a gesture that reflects a feeling that has been with him all year: awareness, built through consistent hard work, and demonstrated on the pitch through incredible performances and new milestones. A more mature Federico has been evident on the pitch, a crucial pillar of Inter's system and a Nerazzurri through and through, driving the team forward both in terms of his mindset and technique. His impressive numbers are the result of that effort and reflect the impact of a truly unique and decisive player. He has been unstoppable down the left flank, an ever-present threat to opponents and a constant force of creativity in Inter's attack. If Inter have made the most of set pieces and aerial goals, and if the fans are on their feet every time there's a corner or a cross from deep, it's because they know it's Federico Dimarco's left foot sending in the ball. It's this left foot that has assisted 18 goals; no one in Serie A history has done better. A left foot that has also produced six goals of his own in the league, taking him up to 24 goal contributions in total: once again the best tally in the current season, and the only defender to beat 20 goal involvements since the statistic has been recorded in 2004/05. He's better than a forward, better than midfielders, better than all the rest because that left foot is simply sensational.

Dimarco has had plenty of iconic moments, beautiful goals and assists, but if there's one game that encapsulates his quality this season, it's the match against Pisa at San Siro, in which Inter were two goals down in the first 23 minutes. Dimarco started on the bench, keen to come on and turn the game around. The team was struggling, and Chivu brought him on in the 34th minute to change the momentum. Federico was simply electric, and as soon as he came on, Inter found their momentum, San Siro came alive, and the Nerazzurri went into the break leading 3-2 after scoring three times in six minutes. Following Zielinski's penalty, it was the same type of goal: a cross from Dimarco, followed by a header from Lautaro and Pio to get the Nerazzurri back on track and make the Meazza erupt. This best captures Dimarco's awareness: when he lifts his head and picks out a spot, the ball will end up exactly where he wants it to go.

Dimarco has won his second Scudetto with Inter, a club he grew up loving, the Nerazzurri colours woven into his identity through both joy and hardship. This season, he has topped the assists charts, standing out among Inter's stars and playing a crucial role in winning the Club's 21st league title. Federico has not only made his dream of seeing Inter as Champions of Italy come true, but has also fulfilled ours.
