MILAN0 – A milestone anniversary for the Gentleman Award, which this year celebrated its 30th edition. The annual event dedicated to Fair Play took place at the prestigious Scuola Militare Teuliè, and Inter was the star of the show, taking home several awards. Among the prize winners was President and Chairman Giuseppe Marotta, who accepted the 'Gentleman Executive' award, introduced for the 30th edition to recognise figures who have stood out over the past three decades.
“In football, it’s not only the players who become icons, but also coaches and executives like Adriano Galliani, with whom I share this award. Adriano embodies the values recognised by this award: he's a loyal and passionate person, and like me, he's been fortunate enough to channel his passion into a profession. We’ve shared many experiences throughout our careers, and I’ve learned a great deal from him. It’s been a wonderful journey, built on a genuine friendship. A word on Giorgio Armani? He represented the very best of ‘Made in Italy,’ just as we aim to showcase the best of Italy on the global stage through football. Our country has always had this winning combination of fashion and sport. His brand became known worldwide through its transparency and values – principles that must be recognised and passed on to our children”

Several Nerazzurri players received awards for the 2024/25 season, including captain Lautaro Martinez who, upon being named “Gentleman Serie A” for the second year running, made the following statement:
“I'm sorry I can't be with you all this evening as I am away on international duty. I am proud of this award, and I want to thank all the fans who voted for me, as I know there were so many votes. I'm so pleased and honoured to receive the "Gentleman Serie A" award for the second consecutive year. I'm sending a big hug to everyone – Forza Inter!”
Lautaro Martinez
Among the key figures that took part in the awards ceremony, Henrikh Mkhitaryan took the spotlight as he received the “Gentleman Inter” award:
“I’m happy and honoured, and I want to thank everyone who voted for me. This is an honour, thank you very much. An award that reflects who I am? I don’t try to be that way – it’s just how I carry myself. Maybe it’s down to my character, but that’s not for me to say”
Henrikh Mkhitaryan
A prestigious award also went to Carlos Augusto, who was presented with the "Young Breakthrough" award.
“Last year we had a great season, even if it didn't end the way we wanted. We're ready to give our best and have another great year”
Carlos Augusto
As previously, there was also an award for "Best Goal", which went to Nicolò Barella for his impressive left-footed volley from the edge of the box against Atalanta: a true masterpiece of class and technique.
The Nerazzurri awards ceremony continued with a special award presented to Vice President Javier Zanetti, who received a Lifetime Gentleman award, linked to the 30th edition of the event:
“This award is very special to me: the event has taken place for 30 years, and I’ve been at Inter for 30 years as well. I’ve experienced so many moments and so many emotions within this great family, which is what Inter has always meant to me. I fully share the values promoted by the Gentleman Award – I always did as a player, and I continue to do so now as an executive. My heartfelt thanks for this recognition”
Javier Zanetti - Vice President
