PREVIOUS MEETINGS

Lazio is Denzel Dumfries' favourite opponent: the Dutch full-back has scored three goals against the Biancocelesti, one in each of his last three matches in the Serie A. In the last 20 years, only Massimo Oddo has managed to scored in four consecutive matches against one team, when it comes to defenders (against Chievo from 2005 to 2007): an achievement that Dumfries is aiming to equal.

ÇALHANOĞLU AT THE TOP

With five goals in the league, including a brace in the last match at San Siro, Hakan Çalhanoğlu has already equalled his record for the number of goals scored last season. The Turkish international is also the joint highest-scoring player when it comes to goals from outside of the area in the top five European Leagues (three goals, on par with Antony and Julián Álvarez) and boasts a special record against Lazio: this is the side that he has provided the most assists against, more than any other player currently playing.

DIMARCO, THE EXTRA FORWARD

Precision, consistency and quality. Federico Dimarco is the player who has created the most chances (30) and produced the most crosses (55), so far this season. With two goals and three assists, the Inter full-back has had an active role in five goals in the league. Compared to all defenders in the top five European Leagues, only Alejandro Grimaldo (seven) has beaten this number.

THE OPPOSITION: LAZIO

Lazio, led by Maurizio Sarri, have started the campaign by obtaining 15 points in ten matches, thanks to four wins and three draws. The Biancocelesti have scored thirteen times, conceded seven goals and are currently in eighth. In their last five matches, Lazio have three draws and two wins. 3-3 against Torino and two 0-0 draws against Atalanta and Pisa.
