Inter U-23 kick off their season with a 1-1 draw at Novara. Vecchi’s side started strongly, taking the lead with a brilliant free kick from Topalovic, his first-ever goal in Serie C. In the first half, Inter came close to doubling their advantage several times, including a miraculous goal-line clearance from D’Alessio. In the second half, Novara found their feet and equalised through Da Graca, assisted by a cross from Arboscello. Despite a tense finish and a late chance denied by Alexiou, Inter secured a solid point on their debut.
