Comments from Inter’s left-back, MVP of Lecce vs. Inter after setting up more goals

Federico Dimarco just keeps on delivering. The Nerazzurri left-back produced yet another outstanding performance in the away win over Lecce. Dimarco brought energy and quality to Inter’s attacking play, leaving his mark on both goals thanks to two superbly taken corners, one of which became the assist for Akanji’s header. Named Man of the Match at the Via del Mare, the No. 32 has now reached 15 assists in the league and has provided at least one assist in each of his last five appearances.

It’s a remarkable run of form for the Inter left-back, who spoke to the media after Lecce vs. Inter:

“It was a big relief to get those goals. We knew it wouldn’t be easy, especially after the trip to Norway and then heading straight to Lecce, we had very little time to recover. This win builds on the one against Juventus and it’s important for the table. MVP? Honestly, I think Mkhitaryan deserved it. What matters most now is that we keep this momentum going and continue doing our job for the team. ”
