— Feb 2nd 2025The thoughts of the Inter forward after the draw in the derby against AC Milan
One of the images from this derby: Marcus Thuram lying on the grass of San Siro, exhausted, after a match full of contrasting emotions and a series of duels against the AC Milan defence. He tried in every way, Marcus, to achieve a result that didn't seem as if it would come: in the end, however, the heart of the Nerazzurri allowed Inter to achieve a more than deserved draw. Here are the thoughts of the French forward after the derby:
“I'm not satisfied, I'm at Inter and we want to win, but considering how the match went, we are content, three posts and disallowed goals. It seemed like it wasn't our day, but we managed to draw. I lacking a bit mentally and physically at the end of the match, but we play in Firenze on Thursday and we will all be ready. In the first half, we didn't play our way, in the second half we played with more joy and managed to do better. We should've had a penalty tonight, the referee makes mistakes just like I do. I don't understand why VAR didn't intervene: maybe they didn't see anything there. Errors are also made in football, we'll take the point today with a great reaction and move forward. When you score in the last minute, you're happy but we can't be satisfied because we have big objectives this year. ”
