The players' post-match reaction to the win over Gzira

Inter won 6-1 against Gzira in their first friendly of their Training Camp in Malta. These goals certainly helped the Nerazzurri to get back into the swing of things ahead of the Serie A restart in a month's time. Here's what Hakan Calhanoglu, Raoul Bellanova and Dennis Curatolo had to say after the game.

“I hope to score a goal like that in the league too; I'm preparing myself for this. We've managed to rest a bit in recent weeks. Now, we want to prepare well here in Malta because we have a friendly against a strong Salzburg side on Wednesday. We want to improve, even though we had a good game. We played well but we need to work hard in the coming weeks on what didn't go well in the first three months of the season. We want to beat Napoli.”

Hakan Calhanoglu

“I'm really happy with the goal. It's a dream to score for this team; I hope my next goal will be in Serie A. We're working head ahead of the restart. I work as hard as I can each day and I feel the level of trust from the coach and my teammates. When my time comes, I will try to give my all because it's an honour to be at Inter.”

Raoul Bellanova

“It was my debut and I'm happy. It's a shame that I didn't score. The coach named me in various matchday squads before now, which gave me confidence. I was nervous but it's great to play with these guys because they give me a lot of energy. Playing on their team is amazing.”
