Dumfries' brace sends Inter into the final of the Supercoppa: the Inter coach shared his thoughts at the end of the win over Atalanta

Concrete, affirmative and spectacular, just like the brace from Denzel Dumfries. Inter have earned a spot in the final of the EA Sports FC Supercup again thanks to an overhead-kick and powerful finish, from the Dutchman to seal the win over Atalanta. At the end of the match at the Al-Awwal Park Stadium in Riyadh, Simone Inzaghi commented on the win and the team's performance:

“We were brilliant, there was no contest against a top quality opponent, we approached both halves as a top side. Now it's time for the biggest step but I have given my congratulations to the guys because we truly created a lot against a strong opponent. We wanted to reach the final and I saw great concentration from the team. I am very satisfied because it's not always simple when you have to travel a lot and there are a lot of games, but the guys showed character and motivation on the pitch and went above expectations. We want to continue like this and win as many games as possible. The goals from the defenders? It's our way of playing, the defenders are able to find themselves in these situations. Dumfries is a player that has always scored, be it for Inter or his National Team, this is nothing new, congratulations to him and the guys. Lautaro? On a few occasions he found Carnesecchi making extraordinary saves, all of our forwards work so much for the team because they know that while goals are important, winning is the most important thing. Thuram? There are four days until the final, myself and the staff will see if he is available. Final? Two great sides will face off and we will see who we will face in the final on Monday. ”
