The Nerazzurri coach's comments at the end of Inter v Fiorentina

After Inter v Fiorentina, coach Simone Inzaghi commented on the Nerazzurri's performance:

There is great disappointment that we have lost two consecutive home games in front of a crowd that always cheers us on. We have to work harder but in terms of commitment and performance those who played and those who came in gave their all. It's a moment in which we have to be more critical because we had many goal-scoring chances to exploit. We knew the difficulties of the match, it's not the result we wanted but it must make us reflect to work even more and even better.

As for the forwards, last year we had the best attack, this year we are second but in 2023 we are scoring less, this is true. We have to work even harder, this will be a very intense month, it's the training, the sweat, the work that counts. We must try to recover as many players as possible.

Tonight we lacked determination, it is a result that does not satisfy us, we have to work harder and better but for the commitment and effort put in on the pitch, I have nothing to say. We have a difficult month ahead of us, there will be tough matches and we will have to be good at being the best we can be, trying to improve because now what we are doing is not enough and making us give up important points. We know the commitments that await us, today's result hurts because of how it came, we would have deserved more but this is football. In 72 hours, we are back on the pitch for a very important game that we care about so much.
