The Nerazzurri boss after Inter vs. Fiorentina

It was collective victory in which everyone wanted to participate. Against Fiorentina, teamwork, the boost of the San Siro crowd and motivation won the day for the Nerazzurri. A big lift, as always, came also from the dug-out, from Simone Inzaghi, who encouraged all his boys and congratulated them at the end of a very important win, given the character shown and its important in the standings:

“It's an important win. All together as a team, and with our fans who supported us throughout this tricky game. I'm really pleased. The boys showed the right attitude, It was a well-worked win. We approached the game well in both halves. The boys kept their cool and looked good technically. Arnie was brilliant. He's such an important player for us on and off the pitch and I'm pleased that he got his goal because he deserves it. The celebrations after the final whistle? In the past few days, we've tried to work hard and block out the noise. These boys ran hard, were aggressive and played with determination. Fiorentina defended very deep in both games. On Thursday, they punished us. Today, we were more alert. Once we took the lead, there was that penalty and we needed to restore our lead in the second half but avoid letting them hit us on the break. We've come a long way. We played well tonight. The team stayed calm and didn't get nervous despite the loss last time out. Barella and Calha are important players. Calha was booked and was playing his third game as a starter. Nicolò had a brilliant game; you could see that he rested on Thursday. When I can, I try to manage the players' fatigue. Acerbi made his comeback today, and Zielinski looked good off the bench. They both played well. Injuries? We'll need to assess Thuram, Arnie too. Correa came back today. Dima has had a fever for five days; we hope he's back on his feet by Sunday. Juventus? We'll go and play well.”
